my parents used to treat me like a ball when they split up and it was pretty unbearable, jeeze. i think that it's pretty hard for any children in this world to see its parents yell at - and sadly, sometimes, hit - each other. it isn't fair that some families are so happy together when you are silently closing your room's door and sadly laying in your bed, putting your pillow on your head, trying not to hear the fight in the living room.
